This Returns & Exchanges Policy outlines the circumstances under which replacement of products may be possible and the guidelines that govern the process.

At BRIKFURN, we do not accept product returns. However, we understand that certain situations may warrant a replacement. Replacement is only possible under specific conditions, as outlined below. Please note that all customers are required to ensure the safe return of the original product in its original packaging and condition before any replacement can be processed.

2. Scope of the Policy

This Returns & Exchanges Policy applies to all products listed on the BRIKFURN platform, whether you are a B2C (Business to Consumer) customer or a B2B (Business to Business) customer such as contractors, interior designers, architects, or manufacturers.

  • B2C Customers: Individual buyers who purchase products for personal use.
  • B2B Customers: Contractors, interior designers, architects, or manufacturers purchasing in bulk or for commercial projects.


3. No Returns Policy

3.1 Why We Don’t Accept Returns

Due to the nature of the home interiors and construction industry, as well as the custom and bulk nature of many of our products, BRIKFURN does not accept returns for the following reasons:

  • Custom Orders: Many products sold through our platform are customized to the buyer's specifications. Customization could include size, material, design, and finishing options. Since these products are made-to-order, they cannot be resold to others.
  • Bulk Purchases: For B2B clients, including contractors and manufacturers, bulk purchases are often directly related to specific projects, making returns impractical.
  • Fragile and High-Value Items: Products such as tiles, fixtures, furniture, and hardware are often delicate or high in value, making it difficult to accept returns after they have left the manufacturer's or seller's premises.
  • Transportation and Handling Costs: The costs involved in handling and shipping large, bulky, or fragile items make returns impractical from both a cost and logistical perspective.


4. Replacement Policy

In exceptional cases, offers a replacement of the product under specific conditions. These conditions are applicable to both B2C and B2B customers.

4.1 Eligibility for Replacement

Replacement is possible only under the following conditions:

  • Defective Products: If the product is found to be defective, damaged, or broken upon receipt, you may be eligible for a replacement.
  • Incorrect Product Delivered: If the product delivered does not match the description or specifications provided during the order, a replacement will be arranged.
  • Missing Parts or Components: If the product received is missing any parts or components essential for its proper functioning, we will provide a replacement for the incomplete product.


4.2 Conditions for Replacement

To be eligible for a replacement, the following conditions must be met:

  • The defect or issue must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product.
  • The product must be in its original packaging and include all manuals, accessories, and documents.
  • Photographic or video evidence of the defect or incorrect product may be required.
  • BRIKFURN must approve the request for a replacement after reviewing the claim.
  • The original product must be returned in the same condition as received, without any damages caused during use or handling by the customer.


5. Safe Return of the Original Product

Before a replacement can be processed, you must ensure the safe return of the original product.

5.1 Packaging Requirements

  • The product must be packed securely in its original packaging to prevent any damage during the return shipment.
  • Any product not returned in its original packaging will not qualify for a replacement.
  • For fragile or large items, ensure that proper cushioning and protection are used to avoid damage during transport.


5.2 Shipping Costs for Returning the Product

  • The customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the original product unless otherwise agreed upon with BRIKFURN.
  • If the return is due to a defect or incorrect product sent by us, we may arrange a reverse pickup or reimburse the shipping costs.
  • Any shipping costs incurred by the customer for returning the product will not be reimbursed if the replacement request is rejected due to non-eligibility.


5.3 Condition of the Returned Product

  • The original product must be returned in the same condition as when it was received.
  • Products that have been used, installed, damaged, or altered by the customer will not be eligible for replacement.
  • If the original product is damaged during return shipping due to improper packaging, BRIKFURN reserves the right to reject the replacement request.


6. Order Cancellation

6.1 Penalty for Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order after it has been placed, a cancellation fee of 3% of the total order value will be charged as a transaction penalty. This fee covers payment gateway charges and administrative costs incurred during the processing of your order.

6.2 Cancellation Deadlines

  • B2B Customers: For bulk orders or orders placed by contractors, manufacturers, interior designers, and architects, cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order to avoid any additional penalties.
  • B2C Customers: For individual consumers and end clients, cancellations must be requested within 24 hours of placing the order.


If the order is canceled after the stated deadlines or if the product has already entered the shipping or production process, we may not be able to accommodate the cancellation request, and you will be liable for the full order amount.

6.3 Process for Canceling an Order

8. How to Request a Replacement

Once we receive your replacement request, we will review the claim. If necessary, we may request additional information or evidence to support your claim. Upon approval, we will provide instructions on how to return the original product.

8.3 Return of Original Product

After receiving approval, securely pack the product and send it to the designated address provided by our support team. Ensure all packaging and protective materials are used to prevent damage during transit.

8.4 Processing the Replacement

Once we receive the returned product and verify that it meets the conditions for replacement, we will process the replacement. A replacement product will be shipped and delivered to you within 4-5 working days, depending on product availability.

9. Non-Replacement Items

The following types of products are not eligible for replacement:

  • Products that have been used or installed by the customer
  • Products with missing or altered serial numbers or identification tags
  • Products that are damaged due to improper handling or use by the customer
  • Custom or made-to-order products that were manufactured according to customer specifications
  • Bulk orders for contractors or manufacturers, unless there is a defect or incorrect delivery


10. Disputes and Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding a replacement or the condition of the returned product, BRIKFURN will make a final determination based on the evidence provided and the inspection of the returned product.

  • Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this policy will be resolved through negotiations between the parties involved. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be escalated to legal authorities, following the laws of Bengaluru, Karnataka
